Crime Online: What Schools Can Do To Delete It
School districts around New York are helping to pull the plug on Internet criminals by attending a free half-day seminar on how to deal with cyber crime.
Jointly sponsored by NYSIR and the New York State Association of School Business Officials, the seminar features a discussion of the causes behind cyber crime, Internet crime currently in the news and steps districts can take to reduce exposure. The presentation will be held in six regions of the state on six different dates.
Those dates and regional locations include:

The agenda, which begins with an 8:30 a.m. registration and ends with lunch following a full morning of discussion, will include presentations by experts from the FBI, New York State Police Cyber Crime Units, J.P Morgan Chase Bank and the NYSIR Risk Management Department.
